About Us

What is Threaded Origins

Threaded Origins is a Minnesota-based nonprofit dedicated to uplifting and empowering multiracial individuals through community, storytelling, resources, and advocacy.

Who is Threaded Origins for?

We serve multiracial people of all ages, backgrounds, and identities, as well as allies and institutions seeking to better understand and support multiracial experiences.

Why focus on multiracial individuals

Multiracial individuals often face unique identity challenges, underrepresentation, and a lack of dedicated resources. We aim to fill that gap and foster a strong, inclusive community.

What kind of programs do you offer?

As we are a brand-new organization, we currently only host storytelling projects and community events. Learn more about this on the Upcoming Events page and Threaded Blogs, where we share stories of the multiracial people in America.

P.S. we are planning more events and programs, stay tuned!

How can I attend a community event or storytelling?

Visit our Upcoming Events page to view events. Most events are free and open to the public, so just come over and have fun! As for Storytelling, please reach out via email if you wanted to share a story of yours. To view other people’s stories, look on the Threaded Blogs!
